About Plumbing Paramedics
Plumbing Paramedics’ current franchisor, PHP Franchise, LLC, was formed in Delaware on October 13, 2021, and began offering franchises in November 2021. Its predecessor, Plumbing Heating Paramedics, LLC, began business in February 2011 and originally owned certain brand trademarks. That predecessor business was sold to a franchisee in February 2024. The current franchisor is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a subsidiary of Threshold Brands, a home-services franchise group.
At December 31, 2025, the franchisor reported 15 Plumbing Paramedics franchises. PHP also offers Heating + Air Paramedics, but that is a separate franchise program with its own disclosure document. The Plumbing Paramedics offering focuses on plumbing and approved related services for residential properties, including single-family homes and apartment buildings.
The April 10, 2026 FDD estimates an initial investment of $95,935–$193,260, including a standard $40,000 franchise fee and three months of additional funds. The estimate assumes a leased vehicle and allows for starting before a permanent facility is leased; an approved permanent facility must be secured within one year of signing. The business must open from an approved permanent or temporary site within 120 days of signing.
A separate conversion program is available to qualifying plumbing businesses with at least 12 months of similar services and more than $250,000 in sales during the preceding 12 months. Under its conversion addendum, the franchisor waives the initial franchise fee and reduces the continuing royalty to 2% of gross sales for the first 24 months. Program eligibility and applicable agreements distinguish this route from the standard startup offering.
Plumbing Paramedics Training and Support
The principal owner and any on-site supervisor must complete initial training satisfactorily before opening, no later than 120 days after signing the franchise agreement. The program provides for four attendees and approximately 60 hours over five to seven business days: 38 classroom hours and 22 hours of on-the-job instruction. Training takes place virtually and at the franchise location or another designated location.
The curriculum covers facilities and vehicles, management and financial matters, legal responsibilities, marketing, the operations manual, recruiting, sales and customer service, and technology. Sales and customer service account for 12 classroom and eight practical hours; technology includes four classroom and six practical hours. The operations manual is the primary instructional resource. Additional attendees currently pay $500 per day per person, and franchisees pay all attendee expenses. Item 7 estimates $2,000–$5,000 for initial training attendance costs.
Before opening, the franchisor reviews proposed sites, provides an electronic operations manual and supplies four branded email-user licenses for the first business. Owners select their premises and arrange build-out, permits and local compliance. After opening, assistance includes operating guidance through franchisor representatives, recommendations or requirements for equipment and business systems, accounting and revenue-reporting standards, and customizable forms and templates.
Ongoing marketing support includes required digital marketing services, optional paid add-on and lead-generation services, and an approved online presence. Franchisees fund their local advertising and pay applicable service fees; the FDD specifies a $6,500 monthly local advertising minimum unless a lower amount is approved. The franchisor may hold conferences, additional training or a convention, including virtual sessions, and may require attendance. Franchisees pay the applicable registration, training and related expenses.
Why Plumbing Paramedics
Plumbing Paramedics gives an owner a focused residential service proposition: build a local team around homeowners’ plumbing needs while using a shared brand, operating manual and business systems. A service-vehicle model and a staged move into permanent premises provide a defined startup path, while the conversion program gives qualifying established plumbing operators a different way to enter the network.
The strongest fit is an owner who wants to manage people, customer relationships and day-to-day service delivery. The owner or principal owner must manage the business full time unless the franchisor approves otherwise in writing, and must hold the business license where applicable law requires it. A separate on-site supervisor requires franchisor approval and successful initial training. For someone motivated to lead a local trades business, the combination of operational structure, management training and ongoing assistance is the central attraction.
