About Ziggi’s Coffee

Ziggi’s Coffee’s roots go back to the Colorado coffee-retail operations of BEC Longmont, Inc., incorporated in August 2004. BEC began operating coffee businesses that month, developing the techniques and other assets that later became part of the Ziggi’s franchise system.

Ziggi’s Coffee Franchise, LLC was formed in Colorado on April 12, 2016 and began offering franchises on May 19, 2016. The franchisor acquired operating methods and brand rights developed through BEC’s businesses, creating a framework for franchise owners to operate under the Ziggi’s Coffee name.

The current offering includes drive-thru shops, freestanding and endcap cafés with drive-thru service, and mobile units. Its menu extends beyond coffee and espresso to tea, fruit smoothies, dirty sodas, energy drinks, sandwiches, wraps and other food and beverage items. The March 31, 2026 disclosure describes these formats as the paths available within the franchise offering, with development and operating requirements specific to each.

2026 FDD estimated initial investment: Drive-thru: $586,830–$1,759,855; freestanding café with drive-thru: $655,336–$2,093,361; endcap café with drive-thru: $592,336–$1,148,361; mobile unit: $315,830–$464,355. These estimates are from Item 7 of Ziggi’s Coffee’s FDD issued March 31, 2026. The standard $40,000 initial franchise fee and $10,000 launch fee are included in the estimates; do not add them again. A multi-unit Development Agreement requires additional amounts. Review the current FDD for the proposed format and applicable costs.

Ziggi’s Coffee Training and Support

Development and launch preparation. For fixed-location shops, Ziggi’s reviews proposed sites and leases and advises owners on build-out standards, layout, workflow and equipment specifications. It consults on architectural plans and construction documents. Mobile-unit owners receive truck or trailer standards, operating and event-selection specifications, and review of applicable commissary agreements. Owners also receive supplier information, access to the operations manual and guidance for opening advertising, marketing, operating and sales procedures.

Owner and manager training. The owner or managing owner and general manager attend a seven-day initial program combining classroom and in-store instruction. Classroom training is held in Mead, Colorado, with practical instruction at an affiliated Colorado location selected by Ziggi’s. Both participants must complete the program to the franchisor’s satisfaction before opening. Up to one additional participant may attend without tuition, subject to prior written approval. Participants pay their travel, living expenses and wages. The franchisor may revise the program’s content, schedule, duration, location and format.

After opening. The owner or managing owner and general manager complete approximately 18.5 hours of post-opening online training. The first fixed-location shop receives on-site training after opening. For mobile units, event review is part of the ongoing support described in the disclosure. At the owner’s request, Ziggi’s consults by telephone or email on operations, management, product quality, menu items and customer relations.

Continuing resources. Franchisees have access to advertising and promotional materials, which may carry charges, and receive menu, preparation and business-program updates as the franchisor considers necessary. Training for replacement or additional managers is available at Ziggi’s discretion, subject to capacity and applicable fees; owners cover participant travel and living costs. This support accompanies the owner’s responsibility for staffing and day-to-day shop operations.
