About Conserva Irrigation

Conserva Irrigation’s roots reach back to Underground Logistics, Inc., which began operating an irrigation business in April 2004 and adopted the Conserva Irrigation name in April 2012. Underground Logistics and Outdoor Living Brands jointly developed the concept, with Outdoor Living Brands offering pilot licenses from 2014 through 2017. Their irrigation knowledge and business assets became the foundation of the franchise system launched through Conserva Irrigation Franchising, LLC in March 2017. By the end of that year, nine of the ten pilot licensees had converted to franchises.

The current franchisor, Conserva Irrigation Franchisor, LLC, was formed in August 2021 and acquired the franchise-system assets on September 9, 2021. Based in Glen Allen, Virginia, it operates within the Empower Brands organization through Outdoor Living Brands Holdco. This history connects the brand’s field-service origins with the operating resources of a broader franchise organization.

Today, the franchise offering combines residential and commercial irrigation repair, maintenance, service, design and construction with an emphasis on water conservation. It also includes landscape drainage solutions that redirect water away from foundations, landscape beds and other property features. The January 26, 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document describes ongoing research into products, services and operating methods, giving the brand’s development a practical focus on the systems its franchisees use to serve customers.

The 2026 FDD estimates an initial investment of $125,800–$159,500, including a standard $49,500 franchise fee. A territory with more than 300,000 people carries an additional population fee. The budget includes three months of additional funds; those estimates exclude owner compensation, initial employee benefits and taxes. A dedicated home office is permitted, while equipment and inventory storage must meet local requirements.

Conserva Irrigation Training and Support

Before opening, Conserva Irrigation provides an initial program lasting up to ten business days, to be completed successfully within 120 days of signing the franchise agreement. Training takes place in or around Richmond, Virginia, at another designated location, or through virtual instruction where applicable. The Item 11 curriculum lists 54 classroom or virtual hours and 30 hours of hands-on training across field operations, irrigation products, marketing, sales, technology, office administration and business management. Subjects and timing can vary with the attendee’s experience.

The owner or approved Business Operations Manager must complete the program. Additional attendees can participate without a training fee by agreement with the franchisor. Initial tuition is included, while the franchisee pays travel, lodging, meals, transportation and applicable staff salaries and benefits. Replacement managers must complete initial training within 90 days of the previous manager’s departure, or at the first available program if none is held during that period.

Opening preparation includes the operating manual, equipment and inventory specifications, suitable-vehicle guidance, vehicle branding specifications and an initial graphics package. Conserva also helps plan the first three months of opening promotion. The owner arranges the required purchases and local operating requirements; early on-site assistance is offered at the franchisor’s discretion.

After opening, support includes telephone access during regular business hours to discuss operating needs, updated standards and procedures, information about researched products and methods, and advertising resources through the national branding and marketing program. Supplemental, refresher and renewal training may be required, with a disclosed maximum fee of $500 per program plus travel and living expenses. Conferences are currently recommended but may become mandatory; conference fees and attendee expenses are paid by the franchisee. Renewal may also require training within six to nine months of renewing. These details come from Item 11 of the January 26, 2026 FDD.
