About Aussie Pet Mobile

Aussie Pet Mobile, Inc. was incorporated in California in February 1999 and began offering U.S. franchises under the Aussie Pet Mobile name in October that year. Home Franchise Concepts acquired the company in November 2021. The April 1, 2026 FDD, amended June 16, identifies Home Franchise Concepts as the immediate parent and JM Family Enterprises as the ultimate parent.

In June 2026, the franchisor rebranded its U.S. franchise system as BARK & MANE and began offering franchises under that name. This existing Aussie Pet Mobile profile describes that continuing business and its current offering. The corporate issuer remains Aussie Pet Mobile, Inc., based in Irvine, California. The FDD distinguishes its U.S. rebrand from the separate international subsidiary’s arrangements under the Aussie Pet Mobile name.

Franchisees provide bathing and grooming for dogs and cats from Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans fitted with the system’s required equipment. The business is expected to be managed from home, while the vans serve customers in designated territories. Scheduling, trained groomers, vehicle upkeep and the customer experience are central parts of the operating model.

A new franchisee must acquire at least three territories in one transaction. The disclosed initial franchise fee is $19,950, plus $100,000 in aggregate territory fees for those first three territories. At least one van is required in each territory, with the second and third territories’ start dates scheduled six and twelve months after delivery of the first van. This staged commitment is a key part of the current offering.

Aussie Pet Mobile Training and Support

The initial business-training program runs over four to five days at the HFC Experience Center in Coppell, Texas, or another designated location. Its curriculum lists 32 classroom hours covering business planning, insurance, marketing, groomer hiring, pricing, customer calls, rebooking, software, financial planning and dispatching. Training for up to two people is included with the first franchise agreement, and a $1,000 travel voucher offsets attendance costs; the franchisee pays expenses above that amount.

Grooming preparation is separate from owner business training. The franchisor helps arrange one to two days with a nearby franchisee for an experienced groomer to learn the system’s grooming steps and van equipment. The basic-groomer curriculum lists eight practical hours. A groomer must complete the required program or receive an experience-based waiver before the business opens. Additional virtual grooming courses are available through a third party at the franchisee’s expense, with AKC S.A.F.E. certification costs paid by the franchisor as described in Item 11.

Before opening, the franchisor designates the territory, arranges the first van and required upfit, enrolls the business in its Van Support Program, provides an initial groomer kit and supplies electronic operating manuals and training materials. A call-tracking number supports the local website. The mobile format does not require premises approval, although owners must plan for vehicle storage, weather and local operating requirements.

Ongoing advice may be delivered by phone, email, the intranet, visits or other means as the franchisor considers appropriate. Additional or refresher on-site assistance is available at the disclosed rate of $500 per day plus travel and living expenses, subject to the stated conditions. Extra training programs and attendees can also incur charges. Meetings, conventions and certain portal resources are discretionary.

The system includes a brand website, national advertising activity, local marketing resources, required customer-management software, QuickBooks accounting and ProfitKeeper analytics. Owners pay applicable technology, customer-management and marketing fees. The launch marketing commitment is at least $3,000 a month for the first three months, and a separate required online marketing package supports activities such as email campaigns, local listings and call tracking. The owner remains responsible for hiring, managing and scheduling the team.

Why Aussie Pet Mobile

The current BARK & MANE opportunity pairs a mobile pet-care service with a system that has franchised in the United States since 1999. Grooming takes place in the equipped van, bringing the service to the customer while avoiding the need to build a customer-facing grooming salon. For an owner who enjoys pets, people and daily operations, the appeal is developing a service team whose work is visible in the local community.

The three-territory structure and staged van timetable provide a defined operating plan for building the business. Customer-management tools, groomer preparation and the Van Support Program address different parts of that model, while the owner concentrates on service quality, staffing, appointments and local relationships.

The franchisor prefers active owners. If the owner does not operate the business personally, a full-time manager must complete training and devote normal business hours to its operation and development. A buyer comfortable with that commitment can evaluate how the mobile format and current BARK & MANE direction fit their goals. Contact FranchiseTop40 to discuss this franchise opportunity.
