About Amazing Athletes
Amazing Athletes has a franchise history extending back to 2008, when its California predecessor began offering franchises. That company had been formed in November 2007 and was followed by a Tennessee franchising company established in January 2013. These predecessors developed the franchise system around children’s developmental sports education and physical fitness.
In September 2018, an affiliate acquired the franchise assets of the predecessor company. The current franchisor, Amazing Athletes Franchise Systems LLC, was formed in Delaware on October 3, 2018, and began offering franchises that month. The April 8, 2026 FDD lists its principal office in Budd Lake, New Jersey. Its parent is owned by Super Sports Holdings, which does business as Youth Athletes United.
The program uses proprietary weekly lesson plans combining developmental sports, age-appropriate fitness, motor skills and basic anatomy and nutrition. Classes can take place before, during or after school, during school breaks, at camps and at other approved events and locations. The core franchise includes Amazing Athletes and Amazing Tots; additional Plus Program offerings are available for a separate program fee and associated training. This structure lets owners organize local programming around the age groups and services they are authorized to provide.
Amazing Athletes Training and Support
Pre-opening assistance includes designation of a territory, access to the operating manual, approved advertising and social-media materials, supplier information, and standards for programs, equipment and insurance. The business is expected to operate from the owner’s home, with classes delivered at participating locations, so a dedicated commercial office is not required. Owners purchase the Starter Kit, uniforms and initial marketing materials separately and remain responsible for securing local relationships, required permits and insurance.
The core Franchisee Training Program runs approximately five days. Its table lists 30 classroom hours and four hours of on-the-job training, covering curriculum delivery, class observation, sales practice, marketing, partnerships, recruiting, business development and administration. The Plus Program adds a sixth day with six classroom hours. Training may be held at the franchisor’s headquarters or another designated facility, or delivered through webinars, live streaming or other electronic formats at the franchisor’s discretion.
The owner or operating principal must complete initial training satisfactorily. The core program has no tuition or materials charge, while attendees pay their travel, meals and lodging. Additional approved attendees can incur a $1,000 fee per person. The franchisor’s training is distinct from the required $5,750 Enhanced Business Coaching and Training fee for a first franchise: coaching services and related expenses are charged against that amount, and replenishment may be required. Coaching can occur before or after opening. The franchisee is responsible for training staff and satisfying the training requirements that apply to its management team.
After opening, Amazing Athletes continues to make approved advertising materials, operating standards, supplier lists and program information available. Field assistance, periodic counseling, extra operational guidance and additional courses may be provided at the franchisor’s discretion; some services carry additional charges. Required annual conferences involve franchisee-paid travel and living expenses. Owners use the required computer and accounting tools and participate in the brand’s advertising system. The FDD estimates an opening period of about 45 to 60 days after signing and requires opening within 30 days after completing initial training, subject to permitted extensions.
Why Amazing Athletes
Amazing Athletes offers a way to combine an interest in children’s development with ownership of a local education and fitness business. Its mobile delivery model brings structured lessons to participating schools and other qualified locations, while the home-based office avoids the need to establish a dedicated teaching center. The curriculum, branded equipment and class-delivery methods give owners a defined program to introduce to school leaders and families.
The strongest fit is a buyer who enjoys relationship building, local sales and coordinating instructors and schedules. Owners or their operating principals participate in day-to-day activities, and managers may be used within the franchise’s approval and training requirements. With that operating commitment, Amazing Athletes provides a practical framework for delivering children’s sports and fitness programs across a network of local host locations.
