About YogaSix

YogaSix’s predecessor began offering franchises in September 2018. The current franchisor, Yoga Six Franchise SPV, LLC, was formed in March 2023 and began selling franchises in April 2023 following an internal reorganization. The brand is part of the Xponential Fitness group and is based in Irvine, California.

Studios offer live group and individual instruction, yoga and other approved exercise programs, and memberships covering a defined number of classes. The training system addresses formats such as Hot, Sculpt & Flow, Slow Flow, Stretch, 101 and Power Flow. A typical studio occupies approximately 1,500 to 1,800 square feet, usually in a retail shopping center approved by the franchisor.

Studio development and staffing

The initial franchise fee for a single studio is $60,000. Development involves leasehold improvements, fitness equipment, furnishings, audio-visual systems, retail inventory and pre-opening membership marketing. Owners also arrange required instructor onboarding, for which the standard initial program fee is $3,000 for up to 12 participants.

A studio must engage at least seven authorized instructors who meet the required yoga-qualification and brand-training standards. Owners may supervise the studio themselves or appoint an approved trained manager. The studio must always be managed and staffed by at least one person who has completed the owner/operator training module.

YogaSix Training and Support

The owner/operator module provides nine classroom hours covering studio sales, member onboarding and retention, marketing, retail, recruitment and daily management. An appointed manager also completes a 24-hour manager program covering business software, lead generation, presales, membership sales and operations. Required owners and managers complete training before the studio’s soft opening, with travel and related costs paid by the franchisee.

Instructor onboarding is separate from basic yoga qualification. It uses videos, online materials, a training manual and a video assessment to teach the YogaSix service approach. Prospective instructors are expected to have completed an approved 200-hour yoga training pathway before brand onboarding. Additional credentials and approval apply to instructors delivering teacher-training programs.

Before opening, YogaSix provides access to its learning-management system, layout and equipment specifications, supplier information and advice on presales and opening plans. Continuing assistance includes approved equipment and suppliers, advisory support and additional training at the owner’s expense. On-site opening assistance is discretionary. Owners remain responsible for securing premises, construction, staff, local marketing and member service.

Why YogaSix

YogaSix offers an owner a defined studio concept with a range of yoga and exercise class formats and a membership-based customer relationship. Its operating system connects instructor delivery, studio design, sales and member management. Separate training paths for owners, managers and instructors support the different responsibilities involved in running a fitness studio.

The opportunity may appeal to an owner interested in building a local fitness community and leading a service team. The option to use an approved manager provides an operating arrangement for owners who delegate daily supervision, while maintaining training and staffing standards. Careful team selection, member experience and ongoing local marketing are core parts of the business.
