About Spray-Net
Spray-Net’s operating roots include its Quebec affiliate, incorporated in 2010, followed by a Canadian franchising company formed in 2013. The United States franchisor, Spray-Net Inc., was incorporated in Delaware in September 2016 and began actively offering and awarding U.S. franchises in late 2019. Its principal office is in Boucherville, Quebec, and Carmelo Marsala has served as chief executive officer of the U.S. franchisor since its formation.
The business offers proprietary and other spray painting and coating services for approved residential surfaces. Services can include exterior and interior applications, including doors, windows, masonry and siding, as an alternative to replacing or rebuilding those surfaces. Franchisees use specified coatings, equipment and application methods, transporting tools in an approved mobile service unit. The standard launch model uses a home office with suitable parking and storage; an approved commercial base may be needed where local rules prevent that arrangement.
The April 27, 2026 FDD, amended July 30, 2026, states a $54,500 initial franchise fee for one designated territory and a separate $15,000 initial training fee. Start-up requirements also include production and sales kits, marketing, the mobile unit, equipment and working capital. Qualified franchisees may operate the same business across two or three designated territories under one franchise agreement. That is a territory expansion of the operating business rather than a separate area-development franchise.
Spray-Net Training and Support
Spray-Net’s initial program begins with online learning, followed by classroom instruction, sales training and production training in the franchisee’s territory. The FDD describes approximately three to five days of online study, up to five business days of classroom instruction, up to three days of sales training and five days of production training. Subjects include paint systems, estimating, selling, budgeting, cash flow, recruiting, marketing, customer experience, production, productivity and quality control. The required initial training fee covers the program for up to two participants; owners pay travel, living expenses and employee compensation separately.
Before launch, the franchisor provides access to its digital Operations Manual, specifications for the mobile unit and equipment, approved supplier information, and paid marketing, production and sales kits. Launch support includes marketing recommendations, guidance on reasonable request during business hours, and coordination of the required initial marketing investment. Sales and production instruction is tied to securing appointments and customer projects. Personnel must complete the relevant training and receive authorization before providing services involving the system’s proprietary products and methods.
Ongoing support includes advice on operation and management, information about updated methods, products and suppliers, and access to a representative during normal business hours. The system uses required business-management software and Spray-Pal, a software assistant for routine operating questions. Marketing resources may include approved digital content and promotional templates at the owner’s expense. Spray-Net may also offer workshops, seminars, conventions and continuing-development programs, with attendance required for designated events and applicable fees and travel costs paid by franchisees.
Why Spray-Net
Spray-Net offers a specialized position within home improvement: applying approved coating systems to existing residential surfaces through a mobile service business. The model connects technical product and application training with the estimating, sales and production skills needed to manage local projects. A home-office starting format and a dedicated equipment unit give owners an operating structure suited to work at customer properties.
This opportunity can fit someone who wants to lead a field team, build relationships with homeowners and coordinate jobs from estimate through completion. The standard model expects personal owner participation. A designated manager arrangement requires franchisor approval, completion of training and the ownership or compensation conditions in the franchise agreement. Qualified specialists must be present for the work they are authorized to perform, keeping trained execution central to the business.
