About Next Day Access

Next Day Access, LLC was formed in Tennessee on March 26, 2012 and began offering franchises in December 2012. The March 18, 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document identifies Best Life Brands, LLC as its immediate parent and Troy, Michigan as its principal business location. The company operates within a group that also includes distinct businesses serving needs such as home care, senior placement and estate sales; those affiliated businesses operate separately from Next Day Access.

The franchise centers on selling and renting ramps and offering approved accessibility products and related services. The product offering can include inclined and vertical lifts, pool lifts, patient lifts, automatic door openers, wireless alert devices, floor-safety materials, grab bars and poles. Franchisees serve both individuals and businesses, coordinating the products and installation work appropriate to each customer’s needs. Certain installations require licensed contractors under applicable local rules.

The initial franchise fee depends on the population assigned to the Area of Primary Responsibility: a $23,000 base plus $0.05 per person for populations up to 1.5 million. That produces fees of $48,000–$98,000 across the typical 500,000–1.5 million population range. The smallest territories are considered for sparsely populated rural markets, while dense metropolitan markets target 1–1.5 million residents. Larger approved populations use a different incremental rate. The official franchise site provides an introduction to the brand.

Item 7 estimates a total initial investment of $194,500–$412,900 for a single-unit franchise, including the population-based franchise fee. Multiple-unit arrangements have a separate investment schedule.

Next Day Access Training and Support

Initial owner training. Owners must attend and complete the entire initial program, which takes approximately one week and combines self-study, eLearning, virtual classes, in-person instruction and field training. Training takes place at designated locations, currently Troy, Michigan, and within the approved franchise location. The initial training commitment covers the owner or managing principal and one additional selected employee; non-owner attendees must be accompanied by an owner. Attendees pay travel and lodging costs.

The published core curriculum totals 42.5 classroom hours. Topics include orientation; ramp evaluation, configuration, preparation and installation; Jobber pricing, quoting and invoicing; stair-lift evaluation, installation and quality assurance; grab-bar compliance and installation; supplier product training; vertical platform lifts; product testing and troubleshooting; and presentations. The franchisor can change the program and locations. Suppliers may require additional product-specific training before a franchisee can purchase or install certain equipment. Supplier training has no tuition charge under the FDD, with travel and lodging paid by attendees.

Preparing to open. Franchisees receive electronic access to the operations manual after successfully completing initial training, operating guidance and pricing guidelines. The franchisor provides limited input on office or warehouse size, layout and lease terms, while the owner selects and prepares the premises, obtains required permits and hires the team. Approved supplier lists and specifications may be provided at the franchisor’s discretion. Opening requires completed training, required insurance, an identified location and applicable licenses and approvals.

Ongoing assistance. Guidance may cover operating methods, purchasing, marketing, employee training, administration, bookkeeping and accounting. During the first 12 months, a representative meets with the franchisee at least once in the territory or another mutually agreed location; later visits are discretionary. Field help with a particular installation can be requested at least two weeks ahead, subject to staff availability and payment of travel and lodging costs. Refresher or special training, a national conference and a regional meeting may be required, with applicable fees and expenses paid by the franchisee. The official franchise FAQ provides additional introductory information.

Why Next Day Access

Next Day Access brings together a service mission and a practical local operating model. Its range of ramps, lifts and related accessibility products gives an owner several ways to address a customer’s mobility needs, with both sales and rental options for ramps. The work combines customer conversations, product knowledge, scheduling and installation oversight rather than relying on a single product category.

The opportunity suits someone who values responsive service and can organize a trained team. The business must operate under a principal or other approved supervisor who has completed initial training, with a trained individual available throughout required operating hours. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., and customers must have an after-hours emergency phone contact. For an owner comfortable with that responsibility, the appeal is building a local accessibility service around a defined product system and specific technical training. The franchise FAQ offers another starting point for exploring ownership.
