About Liftology

About the Liftology Franchise

Liftology brings mobility equipment, installation and ongoing service together in a local accessibility business. Its customers include homeowners, families and caregivers seeking practical ways to navigate stairs, entrances, vehicles and living spaces. The business can also serve hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and commercial properties with accessibility needs.

A new brand with experienced leadership

Liftology Franchise Corporation was formed in Utah on June 17, 2025, and began offering franchises in September 2025. Based in Salt Lake City, the brand was founded by David Pazgan, Gordon Raney and Jennifer Raney. Their experience predates Liftology: Pazgan served as president of 101 Mobility Franchise Systems from 2008 to January 2020, while Gordon and Jennifer Raney owned and operated four 101 Mobility franchises across North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas from 2012 to 2020.

That background informs Liftology’s focus on equipment selection, technical installation and local customer relationships. Liftology itself is a young franchise system; its founders’ prior businesses are distinct from the current brand.

Showroom and mobile service model

The Liftology franchise operates from an approved commercial location combining office, showroom and warehouse functions. The FDD recommends roughly 1,500–3,000 square feet of flex space for inventory, demonstration equipment and business operations. Teams travel to customers for assessments, installation and service, while the showroom gives customers a place to explore products. This is an actively managed business, rather than a home-based or absentee model.

Products include stairlifts, ramps, vehicle lifts, patient lifts, vertical platform lifts, pool lifts, grab bars and residential elevators, alongside related accessibility modifications. Product selection and installation must meet applicable manufacturer requirements and local licensing and code rules.

Investment and ownership structure

The 2026 FDD, issued April 30 and amended July 28, lists a total initial investment of $187,800–$427,750. The initial franchise fee for one location is $30,000. A separate, mandatory territory fee is calculated at $0.06 per resident, typically $30,000–$150,000; both fees are included in the investment range. Territory size and location affect the final amount.

Published candidate qualifications include $100,000 in liquid capital and $250,000 in net worth. Confirm current qualifications with Liftology when discussing your proposed market.

Each business serves a defined Local Service Area made up of contiguous ZIP codes, with territorial protections subject to the agreement’s conditions. A managing owner holding at least 10% ownership must normally work full time in the business. An approved general manager does not eliminate the owner’s oversight responsibilities.

Liftology Training and Support

Liftology Franchise Training and Support

Preparation before opening

Onboarding begins with a call scheduled within 14 days of signing, followed by opening checklists, manuals and regular progress discussions. Liftology provides guidance on initial inventory, showroom demonstration equipment and approved suppliers so owners can prepare the commercial base and mobile service operation.

LiftOff Academy in Salt Lake City covers business operations, customer experience, sales and marketing. The FDD describes approximately three-and-a-half to four days of initial academy training. The $4,500 initial training fee includes two attendees; travel, lodging and related expenses are additional.

Product knowledge and installation skills

Owners also complete required manufacturer training in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, covering core products such as vehicle lifts, stairlifts and vertical platform lifts. Additional product sessions, online learning and certifications may apply. The primary installer must complete the required manufacturer technical certifications before performing customer installations.

This combination gives the owner a business foundation and equips the installation team with product-specific knowledge. Completion of training, onboarding and required certifications is part of the franchisor’s opening approval process.

Support after launch

Ongoing assistance includes reasonable telephone consultation during business hours, operations-manual updates, advertising review and marketing-fund programs. Owners can draw on approved supplier relationships and available additional training as their teams and product mix develop. Some additional training can carry separate fees.

The local owner leads hiring, customer relationships and day-to-day execution. Liftology’s systems support that work, while the franchisee remains responsible for applicable licenses, permits, codes and employee qualifications.

Why Liftology

Why Choose a Liftology Franchise?

Liftology offers a tangible purpose: helping people overcome everyday barriers to independence. A stairlift can reconnect someone with an upstairs bedroom, a ramp can make an entrance easier to use, and a vehicle lift can support travel outside the home. Owners build a local service business around those practical needs.

Several solutions through one local team

The product range gives owners more than a single installation service to offer. Assessments, equipment sales, installation and follow-up service let a Liftology business support customers as their accessibility needs change. Residential work can sit alongside opportunities with healthcare and commercial facilities.

A consultative business with technical support

For an owner who enjoys relationship building and leading a service team, the model combines local sales with hands-on operational work. A showroom can make equipment easier to understand, while trained installers deliver solutions at the customer’s property. Business training and manufacturer certifications support both sides of that experience.

Build a business around meaningful work

Liftology may suit an engaged owner who wants to manage people, develop local referral relationships and build a reputation for dependable service. Its leadership’s prior mobility-sector experience adds relevant industry knowledge to a young franchise brand. The opportunity rests on combining that support with strong local execution and customer care.
