Amazing Lash Studio Franchise: Services, Training and Ownership

Jul 25, 2024 | 0 comments

Amazing Lash Studio combines eyelash and eyebrow services with a membership model built around repeat visits. For prospective owners, the opportunity involves managing a salon team, maintaining service standards and developing local customer relationships. Its April 1, 2026 franchise disclosure document (FDD) explains the business model, training and owner responsibilities behind the brand.

Services and the membership model

Item 1 describes retail salons offering semi-permanent and temporary eyelash services, eyebrow services, facial hair removal, facial and beauty treatments, certain skincare services and related products. Studios must follow the franchisor’s operating standards; the disclosed service scope does not mean every treatment is available at every location.

Alongside individual services, studios offer monthly memberships that include eyelash services at least once a month at a discounted rate and other benefits determined by the studio. This creates a reason for customers to return, but membership availability alone does not establish customer retention or profitability. Owners must also recruit qualified staff and meet applicable salon and practitioner licensing requirements.

Franchising history and ownership

The predecessor began offering Amazing Lash Studio franchises in May 2013. Amazing Lash Franchise, LLC, formed in June 2018, became the franchisor following a September 12, 2018 acquisition of the franchise system’s assets.

The 2026 FDD records a further change: the transaction between the Transom entities and former parent KSL Capital Partners closed on January 22, 2026. Item 1 identifies Amazing Lash Franchise, LLC as a wholly owned subsidiary of Transom Bloom Buyer, LLC and describes WellBiz Brands, LLC as an affiliate providing management services.

Training for owners, managers and studio staff

Item 11 lists 31.75 hours in the initial owner and management training program. Its subjects include operations, scheduling, culture and point-of-sale systems. Training may take place virtually, at a franchisee training studio, at the Colorado support center or at another designated location.

Every studio must maintain a trained Lash Stylist Trainer. The trainer program typically lasts four to five days; the initial trainer must be hired at least six weeks before opening and complete the program at least four weeks before opening. The FDD states that no training fee is charged for the initial Lash Stylist Trainer.

Lash Consultants, the front-desk staff, and stylists typically attend ten days of training at approximately six to eight hours per day. The owner or operating partner and Lash Stylist Trainer generally facilitate that preparation with initial assistance from the franchisor’s on-site team. Owners, applicable managers and Lash Consultants also participate in a four-call sales training series around opening. Franchisees remain responsible for training-related travel, living expenses and other costs specified in the FDD.

Opening support and ongoing responsibilities

The franchisor reviews proposed sites and leases, provides development specifications and access to the operations manual, and supplies required training. The franchisee identifies and secures the premises and pays for construction and development. Site approval does not guarantee the commercial performance of a location.

After opening, the franchisor administers the brand marketing fund and may provide operational guidance based on reports or inspections. Conferences and additional training may be required and may carry fees. These obligations should be distinguished from discretionary advice or additional support requested by an owner. Item 10 states that the franchisor does not offer direct or indirect financing or guarantee a franchisee’s obligations.

Who manages the studio?

Under Item 15, an entity franchisee must designate an approved operating partner with at least a 25% ownership and voting interest. The owner or operating partner ordinarily supervises the studio full time. Alternatively, an approved, trained Designated Manager can supervise daily operations full time; the owner remains responsible for the business.

For a buyer interested in a beauty-service business, the relevant question is whether the staffing, customer-service and management demands fit their experience and plans. Review the Amazing Lash Studio franchise profile to continue exploring the opportunity and prepare questions for the franchisor.
