About Renew Medic

Renew Medic Franchising LLC was formed in Delaware in December 2023 and began offering franchises on April 18, 2024. Based in Cordova, Tennessee, the franchisor focuses on specialty cabinet mitigation, restoration, transformation, resale and manufacturing services for residential and commercial customers.

The company is a direct subsidiary of TCB Services Holdings, which provides management and support services to the franchisor and franchisees. Its corporate group also includes Furniture Medic and AmeriSpec. Those are separate franchise systems with their own histories: Renew Medic’s franchise offering began in 2024. Item 1 explains that Furniture Medic franchisees and Renew Medic franchisees may refer or subcontract services to one another, without being obligated to do so.

The business operates from a physical location with designated warehouse and office areas and uses branded service vehicles. The offering includes traditional and small-market franchises, plus a multi-unit territory option for traditional businesses. The small-market format has a smaller territory, a lower initial fee and lower minimum royalty and brand-fund requirements, with some other operating differences.

The May 14, 2026 FDD estimates $383,411–$842,150 to open a single traditional franchise, including a $100,000 initial franchise fee. This is the traditional range shown in the overview. A single small-market franchise is estimated at $358,411–$817,150, including a $75,000 initial fee. Both estimates include an allowance for pre-opening and the first nine months of additional operating funds. Multiple traditional territories have a separate investment structure.

Renew Medic Training and Support

Renew Medic begins with approximately 30 hours of online, self-paced preparation covering services, setup, marketing, sales, business planning, job management, accounting and operations. The next stage is a two-week initial program, normally at its Memphis, Tennessee training center. The training table lists 30 hours of technical instruction and 30 hours of business instruction, for 90 hours including preparation. Training combines classroom work and guided practice; some instruction may be virtual or held at another designated location.

Technical subjects include cabinet repair, removal, installation, finishing, materials, safety, construction methods, assembly and equipment. Business subjects include hiring, accounting, sales, marketing, documentation, systems and operations. The initial franchise fee covers three approved attendees drawn from the owner, entity owners and managers. Additional approved attendees cost $1,000 per person per week for the two-week program. Trainees need a medical respirator exam fitting and must bring their respirator. Franchisees pay travel, living expenses and trainee wages.

Before opening, support includes office-location approval, designated equipment and supply sources, marketing materials, access to the intranet and operating manual, and the vehicle-logo package. Franchisees must complete training satisfactorily, obtain their premises and begin operating within eight months of signing. The FDD estimates a typical opening period of 90–240 days, affected by premises, financing and equipment availability.

Ongoing assistance includes approved supply sources, reviews of proposed suppliers and marketing materials, updates to the manual and intranet, the brand website’s business listing, and management of the National Accounts Program and National Brand Fund. Additional training covers cabinet-restoration techniques and business operations. Franchisees must complete annual training for each authorized service and attend the national convention when held; additional training and conventions can involve fees and travel expenses.

Participation in the MRN referral network requires approval and may require additional training. Its administrator may distribute customer assignments to approved participants, but is not required to do so. Owners remain responsible for hiring, training and managing their employees and delivering the local service work.

Why Renew Medic

Renew Medic may appeal to an owner who wants to specialize in cabinetry while building relationships across residential, commercial and insurance-related service channels. Its scope includes both restoring existing cabinets and transformation or manufacturing work, giving the business several defined service categories. Technical instruction, operating procedures and marketing resources provide a framework for developing that specialist operation.

The model suits a buyer prepared to lead a team, manage projects and develop local relationships. Item 15 requires full-time owner involvement unless the franchisor approves another arrangement in writing. An approved alternative requires a trained manager providing direct on-premises supervision. Traditional and small-market formats offer different territory and fee structures, while multi-unit development is available under a separate addendum. For the right operator, Renew Medic offers a focused cabinet-services concept with both craft and business-management responsibilities.
