About Puddle Pool Service

Puddle Pool Services is a pool-care franchise serving residential and commercial customers through a mobile service business. Its offering includes cleaning and maintenance for pools, spas, hot tubs and water features, with additional authorized services ranging from repairs and leak detection to vinyl liner and safety cover installations. The April 17, 2026 U.S. Franchise Disclosure Document also describes pool installations and related exterior property-care services, including soft washing and pressure washing. This service range gives the brand a broader identity than a business focused only on routine pool cleaning.

The brand’s Canadian affiliate, Puddle Pool Services Ltd., was incorporated in British Columbia on February 8, 2018 and has offered Puddle Pool franchises in Canada. The U.S. franchisor, Puddle Pool Services USA, Inc., was formed in Wyoming on September 29, 2021 and began offering U.S. franchises on January 24, 2023. Its principal business address is in Orlando, Florida. These milestones distinguish the Canadian affiliate’s earlier development from the start of U.S. franchising.

Mark Amery is identified as the brand’s founder and CEO in the 2026 disclosure. The leadership team includes franchise-partner coaching, marketing, technology and field operations roles. An affiliated service-brand company, Feels Like Friday Service Brands, Inc., provides proprietary CRM software to U.S. franchisees and owns the brand’s marks. The relationship connects local Puddle Pool operators with shared branding and business technology.

The current franchise offering combines a designated service area with operating procedures, service methods, management standards, training and marketing resources. Owners prepare a home or mobile office and acquire the equipment and technology required for their operation. The disclosure permits the franchisor to improve and develop these systems over time; its documented direction is the continued development of the Puddle Pool service system, rather than a promised expansion target or future financial result.

For one outlet with a territory of up to 10,000 households with pools, the April 17, 2026 FDD estimates an initial investment of $101,800–$135,700, including a $49,500 initial franchise fee. The estimate includes equipment, launch marketing, vehicle-related expenses and additional funds for the first three months. Larger or multiple territories have different franchise-fee requirements.

Puddle Pool Service Training and Support

Puddle Pool’s preparation begins with the franchisor approving the boundaries of the designated service territory and providing its Operations Manual, other designated training aids and a written list of the equipment, supplies and products needed to open. The owner prepares the home or mobile office, obtains the required licenses, acquires the specified technology and equipment, and hires and trains staff where needed. This creates a defined opening process covering the territory, operating resources and local business setup.

The April 17, 2026 FDD requires the individual franchisee, or all owners of a franchisee entity, and the general manager to complete the 78-hour Initial Management Training Program satisfactorily before opening. The program is organized into integration, virtual instruction, implementation and final training phases, with classroom instruction and practical work. Training materials include a manual, cleaning supplies and relevant paperwork. Mark Amery, Mike Terry, Steff Shields or additional operations training staff provide the instruction.

Instructor and training-material costs for up to three participants are included in the initial franchise fee. Franchisees pay their own travel and personal expenses; additional participants and requested training can carry further charges. The franchisor does not promise routine on-site opening training: on-site instruction must be requested. If an owner appoints a non-owner manager, that manager must receive approval, complete the required training and devote full time to the management role.

Marketing support includes an initial campaign conducted by the in-house marketing team and local advertising administered by that team, funded through the franchisee’s required marketing spending. The franchisor maintains the brand website with the local business’s contact information and provides advertising samples or digital artwork as available. Proposed local advertising requires approval. Required business technology includes a mobile app, the CRM system, PuddlePower.com and QuickBooks Online; franchisees are responsible for the associated technology expenses and maintenance.

After opening, franchisees can request individualized assistance by telephone or email within reasonable limits and subject to staff availability. Continuing resources include equipment and product specifications, updated approved-supplier lists and service-pricing guidance. The franchisor may offer or require further training, educational webinars and annual meetings or conferences. Remedial training in the territory can also be arranged, with the franchisee responsible for the applicable trainer and travel costs. These resources support the continuing operation of the business while the owner or approved manager leads the local team and customer service.
