About Majestic Residences

Majestic Residences Franchise Systems, LLC was organized in Delaware in July 2020 and began offering franchises in March 2021. It is based in Gilbert, Arizona. Co-founder Chuck Bongiovanni brought experience from founding CarePatrol and working in senior-housing placement. The related RAL Academy, established in 2016, provides education in assisted living investment and operations.

In December 2025, Majestic purchased the assets of Avendelle Assisted Living. Five related operating homes became part of the system in January 2026, and the company also uses the Avendelle by Majestic Residences trade name. This development expanded the system’s operating background while retaining its focus on group residential care.

The franchise provides non-medical assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, cleaning, meals, medication management and social activities. Approved homes may also provide day care to non-residents. Owners can develop a new operation or convert an eligible existing assisted living facility. Each location must meet brand requirements and applicable local licensing and staffing requirements. A typical home is at least 2,500 square feet, with at least three bedrooms and two bathrooms; a separate administrative office is not required.

The May 19, 2026 FDD lists a standard initial franchise fee of $49,500 for a first home, plus a $5,000 grand-opening marketing fee. Eligible RAL Academy students who have paid their Gold or Platinum tuition receive different first-home fee rates. A qualifying existing facility has a separate conversion fee and operating assumptions. Development costs depend heavily on the property, construction or remodeling work, equipment and local requirements.

Majestic Residences Training and Support

Initial training prepares up to two people, typically the principal owner and a manager, to operate the home. The non-conversion program is described as approximately ten days plus additional on-site instruction. It combines self-study with training in Gilbert, Arizona, another designated location and the franchise home. Required management participants must complete the program satisfactorily before opening. Initial tuition and materials carry no separate charge, while attendees pay travel and living expenses.

The program moves through branding and marketing, pre-licensing preparation and pre-operational training. Topics include understanding the market, touring and marketing the home, brand values, software, policy and procedure resources, staffing, recruitment, scheduling, compensation and opening preparation. Conversion owners complete the conversion training phase and may also be required to complete pre-licensing training. State-required qualifications for administrators or care staff remain separate responsibilities.

Before opening, Majestic reviews the proposed location and layout, identifies required materials and approved suppliers, provides its operating manual and advises on the grand-opening marketing program. The owner selects the property, develops the home and obtains permits, licenses and insurance. Opening deadlines differ for an existing operation, a remodeling project and new construction.

After the grand opening, the franchisor provides a 16-week continuing training program and weekly teleconferences during the first year. Continuing assistance includes advice based on operating reports or inspections, updates to standards and manuals, and management of referral agreements with placement agents to assist local marketing. Advice can be delivered by telephone, written materials, electronic communication or consultations.

Additional guidance and remedial training can carry fees. The franchisor may require up to four days of refresher training and a two- to three-day annual meeting or convention each year, with course and attendance expenses governed separately. Owners maintain the required technology and accounting systems, including QuickBooks Online, and remain responsible for staffing and the quality of daily service.

Why Majestic Residences

Majestic Residences gives an owner a focused role in residential care: create and operate a home where a trained team supports residents throughout the day and night. The setting connects service quality with everyday routines, meals, activities and communication with families. It can appeal to someone who wants to lead a care business and maintain close involvement in the experience of its residents.

The franchise offers separate paths for developing a new home and converting an existing licensed operation. Its training covers both business development and operating preparation, followed by first-year calls and continuing instruction. Referral relationships, brand standards and operating resources provide a framework for organizing the local business.

An entity’s principal owner must hold at least 50% ownership and complete training. After a period of successful management, an approved and trained operations manager may take responsibility for daily management. This structure suits an owner prepared to develop a qualified team, oversee a residential facility and stay accountable for its services.
