About Bumble Roofing

Bumble Roofing traces its operating history to La Roofing & Builder Group Inc., a California company formed in November 2019 and based in Canoga Park. Bumble Roofing Franchisor, LLC was formed in Delaware in March 2023 and acquired the franchise assets in May 2023 through a transaction involving Empower Brands. The current franchisor began offering franchises in August 2023 and is based in Glen Allen, Virginia.

The January 20, 2026 FDD describes a business selling roofing installation and repairs, replacement and maintenance options, and related authorized products and services to residential and commercial customers. The franchise is part of the Empower Brands group through its parent-company structure. Brand President David Bitan previously led the California predecessor, providing continuity between the original operation and the franchise system.

Owners may use a dedicated home office or lease business premises. The model requires an approved vehicle, branding, tools, insurance, business systems and the licenses and permits relevant to the territory. The market includes urban and suburban customers, and roofing sales may be seasonal in some parts of the country. Owners coordinate the work of the business while following the brand’s service and operating standards.

The standard initial franchise fee is $49,500. Territory planning is based on single-family households, with an additional fee for an approved territory exceeding 100,000 households. Startup planning includes the vehicle and equipment package, training travel, local market analysis, opening advertising, business technology and funds for the initial operating period. The required computer tools support quoting, customer management and project coordination, with optional imaging and call-answering services also described.

Bumble Roofing Training and Support

Bumble Roofing’s initial training program lists 64 hours of instruction: 16 hours in sales, 32 in administration and operations, eight in products and eight in field training. The FDD lists California, Virginia or another designated location for delivery. Owners or their approved Designated Business Manager must successfully complete the program before opening, within the disclosed training timetable.

Brand President David Bitan and Director of Operations Jake Mathre are identified as trainers in the 2026 FDD. The Operations Manual is the program’s reference material. Initial training carries no separate tuition for the owner or Designated Business Manager and mutually agreed additional staff, while travel, accommodation, meals and personnel expenses are the franchisee’s responsibility. Supplemental or refresher training may carry additional fees.

Before opening, the franchisor supplies specifications for equipment, tools, supplies and approved vehicles, together with supplier information for vehicle branding and an initial graphics package. It also provides the Operations Manual. On-site assistance during the first months is discretionary. The owner secures the operating location, necessary licenses and insurance, and the equipment and systems required to launch.

Ongoing support includes a representative available during regular business hours to discuss operating experience and support needs, updates to mandatory standards, information about new products and methods, advertising materials and administration of the national branding fund. Bookkeeping services are provided for a fee. Further assistance, meetings and conferences are subject to the disclosed terms, and required events or additional training can create travel and registration costs.

The required technology includes quoting, customer-relationship management, project-management and subcontractor-communication tools, telephone services and QuickBooks Online. Owners fund applicable software and technology fees and maintain their equipment. Local advertising requires an owner-funded campaign using approved materials and vendors. The owner also remains responsible for licensing, local project delivery, staffing and customer service.

Why Bumble Roofing

Bumble Roofing offers a focused service business in which customer acquisition, estimates, project coordination and local operations form the core management work. The option to operate from a dedicated home office gives buyers a defined alternative to leasing a separate office at launch, subject to the requirements of their market.

The franchise brings together roofing-specific product and field instruction with sales and administrative training. Its designated software and operating materials provide tools for organizing customer information, quotes and project communication. The connection to Empower Brands is another part of the system a prospective owner can evaluate when comparing service franchises.

The business requires direct supervision through a Designated Business Manager, who may be an employee, plus a designated person performing sales or back-office administration full time. It suits a buyer prepared to manage people, local marketing and service execution while arranging the appropriate licensing and resources.
