About BioOne
Bio-One is franchised by Ringside Development Company, doing business as Bio-One Colorado, Inc. The Arizona corporation was formed on May 28, 2010 and began operating and offering franchises in 2010. Its April 8, 2026 FDD identifies Springville, Utah as its principal business location. The franchisor became a subsidiary of FSPEP Holdco, LLC in July 2021.
The franchise offers a defined range of specialized cleaning and waste-related services. These include residential and commercial cleaning and disinfection, regulated and nonregulated biomedical waste removal, hoarding cleanup, medical waste and sharps disposal. Customers can include members of the public and government organizations such as police and fire departments. The work requires sensitivity to clients as well as careful attention to applicable safety, transportation, disposal and licensing requirements.
Item 7 estimates $134,645–$221,095 to establish the business. The budget includes the $60,000 franchise fee, a $39,500 Quick Start Package of equipment and supplies, technology startup costs, training-related expenses, marketing, vehicle-related expenses and three months of additional funds. The home-based assumption and whether an owner already has an acceptable vehicle and office equipment affect the estimate. A dedicated leased office is optional.
BioOne Training and Support
Bio-One’s initial training lasts approximately five days, with 30 classroom hours and 10 hours of practical training. The curriculum covers sales and marketing, estimating and pricing, safety procedures, equipment and products, business management, bloodborne pathogens and OSHA compliance. Training takes place at the current headquarters or another designated facility.
The owner, principal operator or designated manager must complete the program. Initial tuition is included for up to two people when they attend within the FDD’s specified timeframe: at least one must complete training before opening, and the second must attend within 365 days after opening. Travel, lodging, meals and wages remain the franchisee’s responsibility. Additional people and replacement managers can incur training charges.
A separate OSHA training program reinforces safety procedures and is offered quarterly. Item 7 includes a $2,000 OSHA training fee. Before opening, the franchisor also supplies the Quick Start Package, approved supplier information and operating manuals, with reasonable assistance by phone, text and email. Item 11 describes a typical opening period of 60–90 days after signing, subject to completing the necessary training, equipment, permits and insurance arrangements.
Ongoing support includes reasonable phone, text and email assistance, review of promotional materials and the OSHA program. The franchisor may offer further seminars, manual updates, marketing materials and inspections. Local online advertising, approved marketing and call tracking are part of the operating system. Franchisees remain responsible for hiring, training and supervising their own employees.
Why BioOne
Bio-One may appeal to an owner seeking a hands-on service business with a clear specialty. The model brings together an established brand, a specified equipment package, practical cleanup training and operating manuals. Its residential and commercial service scope gives an operator several ways to apply those capabilities within a local market.
The home-based format supports a business centered on field service and customer relationships. Owners can spend their time coordinating work, developing local professional connections, supervising a team and maintaining service standards. The FDD requires a trained owner, principal operator or designated manager to participate personally in daily operations.
For someone who communicates well under pressure and takes pride in detailed work, the combination of specialized cleaning skills and compassionate customer service can be a meaningful fit. Bio-One’s mix of initial technical instruction, business training and ongoing communication gives that operator a defined foundation for building a local service organization.
