About Always Best Care Senior Services

The current franchisor, ABCSP, LLC, was originally incorporated in California as ABCSP Inc. on March 23, 2000, and converted to a limited liability company on April 18, 2016. Its predecessor, Newman Capital Investments, LLC, offered Always Best Care Senior Services franchises from December 2006 to December 2007. When the predecessor merged into the current company in December 2007, its 15 franchise agreements transferred to the surviving business, which began selling franchises that month.

The April 13, 2026 unit Franchise Disclosure Document lists the company’s headquarters in Rocklin, California. Its ownership chain runs through AB Care Acquisition, Inc., AB Care Parent Corporation and AB Care Equity Holdings, LLC, with the latter owned by funds managed by NexPhase Capital and its affiliates. Jake Brown has served as president since April 2016 and chief executive officer since April 2017.

Always Best Care’s core unit model pairs non-medical home care with senior living, assisted living and residential care referrals. Clients typically include people age 60 and older, their families and caregivers. A franchise operates from an approved office; the initial space estimate is approximately 500 to 1,250 square feet. In some areas, an established area representative delivers certain training and support services on the franchisor’s behalf. The unit franchise described here is distinct from the previously offered area representative opportunity.

The 2026 FDD estimates an initial unit investment of $89,725 to $145,900, including the $49,900 franchise fee. The estimate includes three months of additional funds and excludes the owner’s salary and debt service. Skilled nursing and medical home health services may be added only after the required licensing and franchisor confirmation, with additional startup costs. Medicare reimbursement requires separate authorizations and is optional.

Always Best Care Senior Services Training and Support

Learning the care business and preparing to open

Always Best Care’s initial program lasts approximately six to seven weeks and is included for the owner or principal owner and one management-level employee. Participants pay their travel, lodging, meals and wages; additional or replacement trainees may incur training fees. Required training must be completed successfully before opening.

The program begins with roughly three weeks of online preparation through ABC Universe, followed by five business days of classroom training in Rocklin, California, an operating franchise or another designated location. It then includes nine business days of activities at the franchise location with telephone support from an area representative or corporate national director, including up to three days of physical field training. The published curriculum lists 120 hours of online self-study, 40 classroom hours, 60 hours of remote post-classroom practical training and 24 field-training hours. Subjects include licensing and operations, recruiting and retention, marketing, financial management, client management, referral sales and software.

Launch resources and continuing support

Before opening, the franchisor assigns the operating area, reviews the proposed office, provides electronic manuals and prepares pages for the franchise within its national website. ABC Universe supplies access to training materials, operating resources, marketing collateral and a digital library. Franchisees use approved accounting, staffing, scheduling and customer management systems and are responsible for the required equipment, licenses and associated costs.

Continuing assistance may include consultation, seminars, field visits and guidance on hiring, staffing, administration, accounting and operating practices. Local business development remains the owner’s responsibility. The FDD requires at least $800 per month in local advertising and at least $1,500 for grand-opening advertising. The national advertising fund contribution is the greater of $300 or 2% of gross sales excluding skilled nursing sales; spending in an individual franchise’s market is not guaranteed. Later training sessions may carry fees. When a franchise conference is mandatory, there is no attendance fee, but attendees pay their travel and other expenses.

Why Always Best Care Senior Services

Always Best Care offers a way to build a local senior services business around two related needs: support for people remaining at home and help identifying senior living options. This combination gives owners a broader service conversation with families as circumstances change. The franchise’s training spans both client development and the practical work of recruiting, retaining and scheduling caregivers, supported by shared operating and marketing resources.

The clearest fit is an owner who enjoys relationships and team leadership and can keep service coordination and business development moving together. At least two full-time staff members, including the owner or a trained manager, must cover client marketing and caregiver recruitment, hiring and scheduling. The owner must oversee the business full time unless a trained manager provides that supervision. The assigned area carries specified protections and obligations rather than unrestricted exclusivity. For someone ready to manage those responsibilities, Always Best Care provides a structured approach to serving older adults and their families through a locally operated business.
