About FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers

FYZICAL, LLC was originally formed in Florida in August 2012 and began offering center franchises in July 2013. Based in Sarasota, Florida, the company converted to a Delaware limited liability company in December 2017. Its center model combines physical rehabilitation and balance services with operating systems, proprietary programs and business-management resources.

The April 30, 2026 unit FDD estimates $175,392–$582,036 for a new center that hires a clinical director, including nine months of additional funds. A new center with a licensed operating principal is estimated at $125,392–$481,536; an existing-practice conversion at $75,085–$191,385; and an MD Affiliate center at $173,192–$581,409. The standard initial fee for one center is $49,000. These are distinct operating formats; area representative recruitment and support rights are offered separately under another FDD.

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers Training and Support

Initial training provides three to five days of instruction for the owner or operating principal, with the office manager also invited at no additional training charge. Pre-lab coursework, orientation and a lab program address center development, hiring, business management, marketing, financial reporting and administrative procedures. The owner and clinical director also complete a virtual administrative training track before opening. Franchisees pay attendees’ travel, meals and lodging. Before launch, FYZICAL supplies electronic manuals, specifications and approved supplier information, reviews the center’s location and design, and assists with opening marketing.

Following opening, the owner and clinical director participate in a 90-day program with weekly virtual coaching meetings at no additional charge. Ongoing support includes continued manual access and guidance on marketing and center operations, along with opening-marketing assistance during the first five months. FYZICAL may also provide refresher instruction, on-site assistance and national or regional conferences; these can involve additional fees and travel costs.

Why FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers

FYZICAL provides a center-based model for owners interested in combining healthcare-business management with a defined physical rehabilitation and balance-service focus. New-center, conversion and MD Affiliate options accommodate different starting points, including an existing therapy or medical practice. Business training and post-opening coaching address the operational side of developing a local center.

The model defines separate business and clinical responsibilities. An operating principal supervises the business, and a qualified, trained clinical director is required when the owner or principal is not a licensed professional or will not actively manage the center. Licensed professionals retain responsibility for regulated care and clinical judgment. This can suit an owner prepared to build a qualified team and manage a service operation alongside experienced clinicians.
