Joshua Tree Experts offers a tree care franchise centered on tree maintenance, plant health care and service at customers' properties. The Pennsylvania-based system combines branded vehicles and specialized equipment with estimating, client service and business management procedures. Franchisees serve residential and business customers within a designated operating territory, with lawn care and pest control available as additional service lines only after franchisor approval. This is an opportunity for an owner who wants to develop a local field-service team, manage customer relationships and coordinate equipment-intensive work. Initial training, opening-period sales support and a required contact center provide defined resources for launching and operating the business.

About Joshua Tree Experts

JTE Franchising LLC was established in Pennsylvania in June 2021 and began offering Joshua Tree Experts franchises in August 2021. Founder and CEO Joshua Malik’s operating experience with the affiliated tree care business dates to 2005. The franchisor is based in Stockertown, Pennsylvania, where an affiliate also operates a Joshua Tree Experts business.

The core franchise provides tree maintenance, tree care and plant health care. Customers typically include homeowners in single-family residences and businesses. Work takes place at customer properties, supported by service vehicles, machinery, approved supplies and a designated administrative base. A home administrative office may be used where local law permits; a commercial operations center becomes necessary when approved supplemental lawn care or pest control services are added. Those additional services require separate authorization and equipment.

The 2026 single-territory investment estimate is $438,325–$618,495, including a $59,500 initial franchise fee. Vehicles and machinery are the largest listed startup expense. The estimate also covers tools, marketing, insurance deposits, training travel and additional funds for the first three months. Expanded-population and multiple-territory arrangements have separate investment schedules. A standard territory covers approximately 250,000 people, with its boundaries and operating rights set out in the franchise agreement.

Joshua Tree Experts Training and Support

Initial training is provided for the owner or managing owner and one designated manager. The program takes place in Stockertown, Pennsylvania, or virtually as the franchisor designates, and must be completed at least 45 days before the scheduled opening. The curriculum covers recruiting and managing staff, advertising and relationship development, estimating, daily operating procedures, client service, product handling, safety, billing and financial reporting. The owner pays associated travel expenses and employee wages.

Opening support includes one week of in-market sales and client support before launch and another week after opening. Franchisees receive operating manuals, approved supplier information, equipment specifications, site selection guidelines and a listing on the system website. The business uses designated management tools, including SingleOps and QuickBooks, to support customer and administrative workflows. Owners remain responsible for hiring, training and supervising their employees.

The required contact center handles incoming customer calls during its operating hours, qualifies service inquiries and sends lead information to the account manager through the customer relationship management system. Ongoing support also includes operating and marketing standards and access to approved marketing campaigns. Optional advanced operations training allows owners and employees to shadow corporate account, operations and department personnel for an additional fee.

Why Joshua Tree Experts

Joshua Tree Experts offers a defined way to build a local tree care operation around specialized equipment, customer service procedures and a recognizable service identity. Tree maintenance and plant health care give the business a focused starting point, while qualified operators may seek approval to add lawn care or pest control. This structure can appeal to owners who want related outdoor services within one operating organization and are prepared to build each approved service line deliberately.

The combination of field operations training, opening-period sales assistance and contact center routing supports both the work at the customer’s property and the process of turning an inquiry into a scheduled visit. Owners can focus on developing their team, maintaining equipment and managing relationships while using the system’s operating and marketing resources.

The model calls for active management. The managing owner must devote full-time effort to the business, and an operating manager may supervise daily work only after meeting the franchisor’s requirements and completing training. For an entrepreneur comfortable with personnel leadership, service scheduling and local business development, these responsibilities provide a clear picture of the owner’s role.
