About Lifeologie Counseling
Lifeologie Counseling is franchised by wefixbrains, LLC, a Texas company formed in April 2015 that began offering franchises in August 2015. Founder and CEO Melanie Wells is a licensed professional counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist, as well as a supervisor in both disciplines. The Dallas-based organization’s affiliate, The Lifeworks Group, PA, was incorporated in May 2003 and operates three similar Texas locations.
The franchise offers psychotherapy and related mental-health services using the Lifeologie brand and operating system. Its ownership structure distinguishes clinical care from business administration. Where permitted, an owner may directly operate the practice with licensed clinicians delivering care. Where professional-ownership restrictions apply, a non-clinician owner generally provides management and administrative services to a separately owned licensed counseling group. Clinical judgment and supervision stay with the qualified professionals.
Location and initial investment
A single location has an estimated initial investment of $133,500 to $349,000. This includes a $40,000 initial franchise fee and a $15,000 pre-opening marketing fee, as well as premises, buildout, furnishings, design services and three months of additional funds. Office plans generally cover approximately 1,200 to 2,500 square feet, with counseling rooms and space for group work, play therapy, administration and client reception. The lower estimates assume access to some existing premises or equipment.
Lifeologie Counseling Training and Support
Lifeologie Success Training provides approximately five days of initial in-person instruction, totaling 36 classroom hours, in Dallas or another designated location. Topics include the brand culture, ownership structures, site selection, clinical operations, business finances, staffing, marketing, technology and performance management. The office manager and clinical director attend, along with the required owner or principal and any designated Key Manager. Initial tuition is included for three attendees, while travel, lodging, meals and salaries remain the owner’s responsibility.
The program must be completed at least four weeks before opening. Pre-opening support also includes the operations manual, equipment and supplier specifications, site-evaluation assistance as considered appropriate, and buildout and décor standards. The pre-opening marketing fee funds initial promotion, website and social-media setup, and search-engine optimization. The owner secures the site, permits, qualified staff and the appropriate legal operating structure.
After opening, Lifeologie provides continuing consultation on management, marketing and operational performance as it considers necessary and appropriate. Refresher training, additional management instruction and on-site assistance may be offered or required. Additional training currently costs $1,000 per trainer per day, with attendee expenses paid separately. Updated materials and a brand marketing fund support the system, and an annual conference may be held to exchange operational information and discuss developments.
Why Lifeologie Counseling
Lifeologie offers a focused way to build the business side of a counseling practice while qualified clinicians concentrate on care. Its model brings together a counseling-oriented office design, professional staffing roles, launch marketing and business training. That combination can appeal to a clinician expanding beyond an individual practice or an entrepreneur interested in supporting a licensed counseling team through an appropriate ownership structure.
The opportunity calls for engaged management: the owner or a principal normally provides full-time attention, although a properly trained Key Manager may lead daily operations. A qualified clinical director must be in place before opening. For an owner who values both a well-run practice and the independence of its clinicians, Lifeologie provides a specific operating framework backed by a founder with counseling credentials.
