About Wize Computing Academy
Wize Computing Academy’s roots are in Coppell, Texas, where its affiliate Nivika, LLC developed the operating model behind the franchise. Nivika began in July 2010 as a software consulting business and later added children’s coding and robotics education. The April 15, 2026 FDD identifies Venus Anand and Vishal Bhasin as the co-founders: Anand leads instruction and operations, while Bhasin directs curriculum. Their education and technology roles shaped the model that the current franchisor brought to market.
Wize Computing Academy Franchising, LLC was formed in Texas on September 4, 2018 and began offering franchises on October 31, 2018. The affiliate’s Coppell operation serves as its prototype. Franchisees teach computer coding, robotics and related STEAM subjects to children ages 4–18 through approved host facilities and online sessions. School-break camps, evening classes and weekend sessions provide additional program formats, with the mix adapted to local families and host organizations.
The 2026 FDD estimates an initial investment of $59,000–$90,000, including a $49,500 initial franchise fee. Most owners are expected to run the administrative side from their residence; an approved commercial office may be 100–300 square feet. The estimate includes computers, software and robotics equipment, opening promotion and additional operating funds. It excludes the owner’s personal compensation, and the explanatory notes advise planning for personal expenses without business draws for three to six months.
Wize Computing Academy Training and Support
Before opening, at least one owner must successfully complete Wize Computing Academy University. Item 11 of the April 15, 2026 FDD lists 52 hours of classroom and online instruction plus nine hours of on-the-job training. The program combines self-paced reading, online or video learning, and instruction at or near Coppell, Texas; typically two to five days take place in Coppell. Topics include entrepreneurship, marketing and sales, curriculum, equipment, pricing, classroom techniques, instructor recruitment and training, administration, accounting, customer relationships and compliance.
Tuition for two people is included in the initial franchise fee. Owners cover travel, living expenses and any applicable employee wages and workers’ compensation coverage; additional management trainees currently cost $2,000 per person. Training must be completed before opening. The franchise normally must open within 90 days of signing unless Wize grants a written extension. A staff member may provide a day of local assistance during the first month or similar training online; that visit is discretionary.
Launch assistance includes territory selection, commercial-site guidelines and review when applicable, and planning a customized opening promotion during training. The FDD budgets $500–$2,500 for that promotion. Wize provides approved lesson plans and equipment guidance, while the owner buys the required equipment and supplies. The franchisor adds the business to its website and refers inquiries concerning the franchise.
After opening, Wize maintains telephone or web advisory support for operations, administration, sales and management, evaluates new teaching techniques and equipment, and supplies operating manuals and implementation guidance. Item 11 provides for additional required online instruction at no charge, while separately describing possible future refresher programs and elective conventions that may involve fees and travel costs. Owners should confirm the terms of each program. Marketing materials may be developed by the franchisor, with samples supplied free and extra copies paid for by the owner. Franchisees must spend at least 2% of monthly sales on local advertising; independently developed materials and social-media use require approval. System management software carries a charge of up to $150 monthly.
Why Wize Computing Academy
Wize Computing Academy suits an owner who wants to build a local children’s technology education business around relationships with schools and families. Its home-office option, classes at host facilities and combination of term-time instruction, online learning and camps give the owner several ways to organize a local program without committing to a dedicated learning-center storefront. The supplied curriculum and defined training program provide a foundation for recruiting instructors and delivering approved courses.
The opportunity calls for active business development, scheduling and oversight of teaching quality. Day-to-day supervision can be delegated to a manager who completes the required training within 30 days of taking responsibility; the manager need not own equity, although at least one owner must complete initial training. Territory protection applies to local on-site classes and franchise locations, with separate provisions for the franchisor’s online classes and sharing fees from students in the territory. For a buyer who values education and is comfortable developing host relationships, this is a concrete operating model to evaluate alongside local demand and staffing plans.
