About Executive Home Care

Executive Home Care traces its operating history to a former affiliated home care business that began in May 2004. Executive Home Care Franchising, LLC was formed in New Jersey in June 2012 and began offering franchises that same month. Riverside Micro-Cap Fund VI-A indirectly acquired the franchise system in November 2021. Today, Executive Home Care is part of Evive Brands and its franchisor is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The business serves two related client groups: people needing comprehensive care and nonmedical assistance at home, and institutions seeking supplemental healthcare staff. Individual care plans are developed after a needs assessment, with caregivers selected for compatibility with each client. The local operation must maintain sufficient qualified staff and backup coverage to serve clients around the clock. Franchisees operate from an approved professional office rather than a home office; a typical location is approximately 800 to 1,200 square feet with a welcome area and at least two offices or conference rooms.

Investment and territory

The standard initial franchise fee is $49,900. Startup planning includes office equipment, technology, training expenses, insurance, licensing, marketing and additional operating funds. A separate territory fee can apply to larger populations; the investment estimate includes up to $16,633 for that fee. The three-month operating-funds allowance excludes compensation for the owner. Executive Home Care recommends planning for a longer operating reserve as the business develops. Territories generally begin at a population of 300,000, with the boundaries and applicable conditions defined in the franchise agreement.

Executive Home Care Training and Support

The responsible owner and designated manager must successfully complete initial training before the business opens. Management training currently includes approximately five days in Scottsdale, Arizona, or another designated location, and may be delivered virtually. Its 30 classroom hours cover operating systems, home care services, caregiver recruitment and retention, hiring, client leads and intake, in-home assessments, caregiver matching, customer service, marketing, finance and sales. Initial training is included for up to three trainees; additional attendees may incur a $500 fee each, and franchisees pay attendee wages and travel expenses.

Before opening, Executive Home Care provides its operating manual, reviews proposed office sites, supplies equipment and vendor specifications, and provides access to approved advertising materials. The franchisee selects and equips the office, obtains licenses and insurance, hires staff and completes the opening requirements. The franchisor issues a certificate authorizing opening after those requirements are met.

Ongoing assistance includes operating guidance, periodic training, a corporate website and local webpage, administration of the brand fund and suggested retail pricing. The required technology platform includes WellSky Personal Care for client billing, scheduling and payroll, Home Care Pulse for analytics, learning and reputation management, and QuickBooks Online for accounting. Software and technology fees apply. Field visits, conferences, strategic relationships and additional requested training may be offered; they are not a promise of a fixed schedule of visits or supplied client referrals. Refresher, remedial or other additional training can carry separate fees.

Why Executive Home Care

Executive Home Care offers a focused way to build a service business around relationships and dependable staffing. Its combination of home care and institutional staffing gives the owner two related service channels, while individual assessments and caregiver matching make the client relationship central to the model. The professional-office format provides a base for recruiting, coordinating schedules and supporting caregivers working in clients’ homes.

This opportunity fits an owner who enjoys developing a team, maintaining service standards and building referral relationships in the local community. An approved responsible owner with at least a 20% ownership interest must devote full-time best efforts to the business. A designated manager handles day-to-day management and may be the same person. For that engaged owner, the brand’s home care operating history, defined training and shared business systems provide a practical foundation for building a locally managed care organization.
